These paper blocks can be printed, cut-out and used to help students plan their code for Root to follow before getting on their iPads. This unplugged, screen-free resource is great for homework assignments where students may not have immediate access to their classroom Root and iPad; it's additionally a fun way to practice fine motor skills!
We've attached an example mini-activity worksheet here, called Robot Pizza Party., in which students are challenged to organize their code blocks to help guide Root across the path to the slice of pizza. Try creating your own worksheets to connect Root's adventures to your current classroom content!
